Explain your role in 10 words: Implementing new customers and dealing with all customer service queries.

What’s the best aspect of your job?There’s a few… creating a good partnership with our clients and understanding their needs and expectations; working with a fantastic team of people who are all committed to the same goal; making service personal.

What’s the worst aspect of your job? Probably the morning drive to work… we have roadworks at the minute (although currently home working due to the coronavirus pandemic).

How long have you worked at Fleet Service GB? Since April 2016.

What was your first paid job? Chambermaid.

What’s your favourite car? MGB GT.

What one thing would you like to achieve before you retire? Write children’s books.

Outside of Fleet Service GB, what would your dream job be? I like making all sorts of things so probably running my own boutique or haberdashery shop.

Who in the world would you most like to meet? Actors Tom Hardy or Chris Hemsworth.

What is your favourite way to spend a day outside of work? Lazing in the sun with my friends, enjoying a gin and tonic and a good book.

If you won the lottery how would you spend the cash? House, car, holiday and share the rest with family and friends.

Not a lot of people know that… I met Noel Edmonds when Crinkley Bottom – a fictional village which was the location for TV programme Noel’s House Party – was filmed where I used to work many years ago at Lucknam Park.

Name: Nathan Davis.

Job Title: Business development.

Explain your role in 10 words: To meet prospective companies and bring in business for Fleet Service GB.

What’s the best aspect of your job? Seeing my best friend, Ryan, every day.

What’s the worst aspect of your job? Having to make tea and coffee.

How long have you worked at Fleet Service GB? Since October 2019.

What was your first paid job? Working behind a bar.

What’s your favourite car? A Lamborghini.

What one thing would you like to achieve before you retire? To become a professional athlete.

Outside of Fleet Service GB, what would your dream job be? Professional footballer.

Who in the world would you most like to meet? Ex-Liverpool and England footballer Steven Gerrard. He is now the manager of Glasgow Rangers.

What is your favourite way to spend a day outside of work? Playing football with my mates.

If you won the lottery how would you spend the cash? Buy my family a massive house.

Not a lot of people know that… I play futsal for England. Futsal is a variant of association football played on a hard court, smaller than a football pitch, and mainly indoors. It has similarities to five-a-side football.

Name: Sarah Clifford.

Job Title: Head of service delivery.

Explain your role in 10 words: Managing company processes to ensure effective service delivery.

What’s the best aspect of your job? Using the company’s technology to scope and deliver new solutions to meet the needs of customers.

What’s the worst aspect of your job? Balancing priorities.

How long have you worked at Fleet Service GB? Since January 2015 when I helped to develop and then launch the business.

What was your first paid job? Waitress (with the worse uniform I have ever seen).

What’s your favourite car? Jaguar F Type.

What one thing would you like to achieve before you retire? Have the Fleet Service GB team recognised in the industry as the fleet management partner of choice.

Outside of Fleet Service GB, what would your dream job be? Difficult one, I like driving vans and wearing high-vis so maybe a delivery driver! Either that or I’ve always thought I would make a good police officer.

Who in the world would you most like to meet? Either of actors Tom Hardy or Andrew Lincoln (not fussed which).

What is your favourite way to spend a day outside of work? Some retail therapy with a long lazy lunch with friends.

If you won the lottery how would you spend the cash? The usual – cars, house, holiday home, trust funds for the kids.

What’s the best aspect of your job?Creating a positive working relationship with clients.

What’s the worst aspect of your job?Nothing – I love a challenge!

How long have you worked at Fleet Service GB? Five years.

What was your first paid job? Car valeting at a garage from the age of 14.

What’s your favourite car? The Batmobile.

What one thing would you like to achieve before you retire? To be financially free.

Outside of Fleet Service GB, what would your dream job be? A presenter on BBC TV’s Top Gear.

Who in the world would you most like to meet? Morgan Freeman.

What is your favourite way to spend a day outside of work? Socialising, chilling and having a great time.

Name: Teodora Byrne.

Job Title: Fleet controller, service support team.

Explain your role in 10 words: Processing vehicle-related fines and invoices whilst offering customer service to clients.

What’s the best aspect of your job? The large variety of people I get to talk to.

What’s the worst aspect of your job? The frustration when issues are out of my hands.

How long have you worked at Fleet Service GB? Three years and 12 days.

What was your first paid job? During my university days I used to be a German tutor for primary school aged children.

What’s your favourite car? 1969 Shelby Mustang GT 500.

What one thing would you like to achieve before you retire? Write a book.

Outside of Fleet Service GB, what would your dream job be? Forensic scientist or criminal psychologist.

Who in the world would you most like to meet? Oh my… so many to choose from! To name a couple: American singer, songwriter, and musician, best known as the guitarist and frontman of the rock band Nirvana Kurt Cobain (hey, you didn’t specify dead or alive!) and actor James McAvoy.

What is your favourite way to spend a day outside of work? I love being outdoors, especially in forests. Otherwise a gig is always a good choice.

If you won the lottery how would you spend the cash? As I am sadly a (responsible) adult, the usual – buy a few houses around the world and travel as much as possible.

Name: Ian Jackson.

Explain your role in 10 words: Managing and tracking maintenance for a wide range of vehicles.

What’s the best aspect of your job? Talking to various people of the fleet world from fleet managers to drivers, every person and situation is different, so the variety is great.

What’s the worst aspect of your job? Simon Bray not making enough cups of tea!

How long have you worked at Fleet Service GB? Four months.

What was your first paid job? Caller at a bingo hall in Plymouth.

What’s your favourite car? Aston Martin DBS.

What one thing would you like to achieve before you retire? Swim with great white sharks in South Africa.

Outside of Fleet Service GB, what would your dream job be? I’ve already done it. In the Royal Navy sailing the world.

Who in the world would you most like to meet? Richard Branson, he’s a perfect example of if you want something, you can get it if you work hard enough.

What is your favourite way to spend a day outside of work? Spending time with my son, He is my world.

If you won the lottery how would you spend the cash? Buy a Harley Davidson and travel Route 66, and spoil the kids!

Explain your role in 10 words: Administrator for the maintenance team and invoice processing and ‘anything in between’.

What’s the best aspect of your job? It keeps me busy and there is never a dull moment.

What’s the worst aspect of your job? Simon Bray’s jokes (the same ones for 15 years).

How long have you worked at Fleet Service GB? Almost four years.

What was your first paid job? A Saturday job in a dry cleaners.

What’s your favourite car? Audi TT.

What one thing would you like to achieve before you retire? Take my daughter to America to swim with sharks (she’s shark mad!).

Outside of Fleet Service GB, what would your dream job be? Anything to do with working with animals.

Who in the world would you most like to meet? Tom Hardy, David Attenborough, or Joanna Lumley.

What is your favourite way to spend a day outside of work? Doing anything with friends and family.

If you won the lottery how would you spend the cash? The usual; house, holiday, cars, treating my family and friends and giving to charity.

What’s the best aspect of your job? Working with the business and its customers to deliver new IT solutions.

What’s the worst aspect of your job? Receiving a bug report for a change that has just gone live.

How long have you worked at Fleet Service GB? 5 years.

What was your first paid job? Working in the local newsagent.

What’s your favourite car? Nissan GTR.

What one thing would you like to achieve before you retire? Have an area of the Fleet Service GB system that is considered truly finished with no nice-to-haves left to implement.

Outside of Fleet Service GB, what would your dream job be? Working for SpaceX.

Who in the world would you most like to meet? Elon Musk.

What is your favourite way to spend a day outside of work? Spending time with my wife and my daughter, probably at the zoo.

If you won the lottery how would you spend the cash? Aside from the usual house, car, holiday mix I’d throw a massive party for all my friends and family.

What’s the best aspect of your job? The people I work with.

What’s the worst aspect of your job? Being stuck behind a desk!

What was your first paid job? Paper round.

What’s your favourite car? BMW M4.

What one thing would you like to achieve before you retire? To visit Hawaii whilst I’m still young…(ish).

Outside of Fleet Service GB, what would your dream job be? NASA scientist/engineer.

Who in the world would you most like to meet? Clint Eastwood.

What is your favourite way to spend a day outside of work? Something active, out in the fresh air and sun.

If you won the lottery how would you spend the cash? Look after the people that matter to me. Then do what I want, when I want. For the rest of my days!

Not a lot of people know that… I once met tough guy actor Danny Trejo (Google him) in New York City. He was very cool, and kind enough to have his picture taken with me. Top man.

Name: Pamela Evans

Job Title: Marketing and design.

Explain your role in 10 words: Managing the design, promotion and delivery of all marketing materials.

What’s the best aspect of your job? Working with aspiring content and passionate professionals.

What’s the worst aspect of your job? Other people’s opinions! Additionally, being sat down at a computer screen a lot.

How long have you worked at Fleet Service GB? Since September 2018.

What was your first paid job? In a greasy spoon café – £10 a day every Saturday.

What’s your favourite car? A 1989 Pajero – for nostalgic reasons.

What one thing would you like to achieve before you retire? Early retirement! I hope I achieve a healthy mix of work and travel.

Outside of Fleet Service GB, what would your dream job be? As an avid watcher of home renovation and house building programmes, I ‘think’ I would like to work in that industry – even as a tradesperson perhaps or site manager. But for me it isn’t about a dream job, it is more about a sense of satisfaction and lifestyle as a whole. As a creative person, the job would need a visual element.

Who in the world would you most like to meet? My parents when they were young.

What is your favourite way to spend a day outside of work? Something outdoors. Ideally on the mountain bike, riding trails somewhere. Soaking up the fresh air and nature’s views.

If you won the lottery how would you spend the cash? Buying properties around the world in the locations I have loved visiting and spending time in. Then paying off the mortgages of those nearest and dearest to me.

Not a lot of people know that… I compete in the sport of water ski racing, in the British and European series.
